Privacy Policy

Twisted Tower Guides does not require an account, accept public user submissions, or sell personal information. This policy explains the limited technical data that may be processed when you visit, follow a link, watch an embedded video, or view advertising on a future public deployment.

Analytics and server records

A public site may use Google Analytics to measure aggregate visits, referral sources, page usage, approximate region, device class, and engagement. Hosting and security providers may process IP address, browser details, request time, and requested URL in logs needed to deliver and protect the service. We use this information for reliability, abuse prevention, and editorial planning rather than to identify individual players.

Cookies and local storage

We do not set an account or profile cookie. Google Analytics, advertising partners, YouTube, and other embedded services may set cookies or use comparable device storage under their own policies. Browser controls can block or clear cookies, although an embed or advertisement may then be unavailable. Where legally required, production consent controls will appear before non-essential storage is activated.

YouTube and external embeds

Guide videos use YouTube's privacy-enhanced youtube-nocookie.com domain. Loading or playing a video still connects your browser to Google or YouTube and may send IP address, browser details, page URL, and playback interactions. You can read the guide without playing either video.

Conditional advertising

Advertising is disabled on private preview deployments. A public production site may use one Adsterra Native Banner on guide detail pages. Adsterra and its partners may process IP address, device, browser, ad impressions, and interactions to deliver, secure, and measure advertising. We do not intentionally enable popunders, social bars, interstitials, or adult advertising.

The production site may also carry Google AdSense verification code during review. If AdSense advertising is later activated, Google and its partners may use cookies and comparable identifiers for delivery and measurement under Google's privacy documentation.

External links, retention, and sharing

Links to Steam, YouTube, official sites, and community resources are governed by the destination's policy. We share technical data only with vendors needed to host, secure, analyze, embed, or monetize the site, or when legally required. Retention is controlled by the relevant provider and configured no longer than reasonably needed.
